Albert Hoffmen 1938

Albert Hoffman is a chemist who discovered the psychedelic drug LSD, by isolating compounds he found in ergot (a fungus affecting rye) this encounter was accidental. During the beginning stages of his discovery a tiny droplet of LSD splashed onto his skin and absorbed through his blood stream and with that he experienced dizziness as well as restlessness, in later days of experimenting he intentionally ingested a increased dosage to test out his experiment and had kaleidoscopic hallucinations. during the 1970s and 1960s the drug was used mainly amongst hippies but there is also evidence of it being used by the CIA in wars against enemies.
