Marie Curie 1898


 Marie Curie was a pioneering female chemist who took great interest and extensive research in radioactivity, she used techniques of isolating radioactive isotopes, and discovery of various elements. Her discovery of radium was possible of examining radium chloride. During the begging of the 20th century radium was present in everyday products, such as toothpaste, hair products and even food items due to radium's "beneficial" properties.
