Rosalind Franklin

 Franklin was responsible for the discovery of the double helix within DNA by using crystallography of x-rays she was able to analyze the molecular structure, this helped her to master both the structure and the process. With this discovery being made it was confirmed by her research and overall discovery that two sugar phosphate backbones laid on the outside of the molecule which formed the double helix
